Letters of Agreement

Letters of Agreement have been mailed to most Leadership Team and Counselor in Training Staff Members.  If you have not received a letter by April 5, please contact Sabine Berzins at 720-266-2143.  For those staff members away at college your letter may have been mailed to your home address.  The Camp Directors have worked tirelessly to place everyone in their preferred area, however due to the limited number of positions, it is not possible to meet all requests.  If you have questions about your report date, days off, etc. please contact your Camp Director.

All staff members are required to submit three reference forms.  Reference forms can be faxed to 303-455-4689 or emailed to Sabine Berzins, 720-266-2143.

Training Before Camp
Aquatics, Climbing and Shooting Sports Training

All Aquatics, Climbing and Shooting Sports Leadership Team members are scheduled to start on May 31 for two days of required area trainings prior to the start of Staff Week on June 2.  Please contact your Camp Directors in you have a conflict.

New Trainings are required in 2013

Changes to the National Camp Accreditation Program have added new required trainings for staff.  Be sure to take a look at these courses.  Completion certificates will be required of all staff members when reporting for staff week.  By having all staff members pre-certified in these areas, it will allow us to review these topics during staff week and allow for more time for you to prepare your individual camp areas.

CPR/First Aid Training

Why do we ask for this training? National Camp Accreditation requires that 50% of our staff be current in CPR/First Aid. We have found that many of you, from past camp experiences, training within your local Scout Unit, school classes and general interest in the medical field, are currently trained in CPR/First Aid.  By submitting your training certificates you will help Peaceful Valley and Tahosa meet the national requirement.  A course will be offered during staff week, if needed, for a nominal fee.
