Gateway District Klondike The Gateway District Klondike it just around the corner on February 8th through 10th at Golden Gate State Park. The Klondike Winter Games (Derby) is a special event in our district each year. Scouts Troops will camp out over the weekend, Friday-Sunday, and Webelos will arrive early Saturday morning and spend the day. Troops also have the option of coming just for Saturday if they desire. During the day, Patrols/Dens will participate in events, some old and some new. The events have been designed to test Scouting skills, mentally and physically. All the events will be timed unless otherwise noted. There also will be special hats for the Boy Scout Patrol, winning the "King of the Klondike" award. Need to make a sled?
