Tahosa High Adventure Base

Got Air?

Siting at over 9,000 feet in elevation beneath the looming shadows of Mount Audubon and Sawtooth, Tahosa High Adventure Base is a Boy Scout Camp like no other!  Leave the "real" world behind as your troop or crew discovers the wonder and adventure of Colorado camping.

Located adjacent to the Indian Peaks Wilderness in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, Tahosa High Adventure Base is just 30 minutes west of Boulder and 1 1/2 hours northwest of Denver, making it easily accessible for in-and-out of state troops and crews.

Customize your adventure!

Tahosa High Adventure Base is designed to serve troops and crews seeking a traditional summer camp experience or provide an opportunity for  groups to experience their next big adventure.  Our summer camp program offers three unique program options: EaglePoint Base Camp, Alpine Adventure Trek, and Tahosa Trek.

Tahosa High Adventure Base is also home to Big Horn National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT).  This program is an intense week-long youth oriented leadership training experience designed to foster and enhance Scout and Venturer leadership skills.

Tahosa High Adventure Base provides a variety of year-round programs, allowing your group experiences they won't get during summer camp.  Check out our C.O.P.E., Hooked on Tahosa, and Okpik programs below for more information.

Call 720.266.2119 or email the Alex Hughes, the Colorado Adventure Executive,to start planning your experience today!
