Tahosa High Adventure Base
Siting at over 9,000 feet in elevation beneath the looming shadows of Mount Audubon and Sawtooth, Tahosa High Adventure Base is a Boy Scout Camp like no other! Leave the "real" world behind as your troop or crew discovers the wonder and adventure of Colorado camping.
Located adjacent to the Indian Peaks Wilderness in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, Camp Tahosa is just 30 minutes west of Boulder and 1 1/2 hours northwest of Denver, making it easily accessible for in-and-out of state troops and crews.
Customize your adventure!
Camp Tahosa is designed to serve troops and crews seeking a traditional summer camp experience or provide an opportunity for groups to experience their next big adventure. Our summer camp program offers two unique program styles. An EaglePoint resident camp (with a lot of unique activities) or a customizable back-country trek experience (serving beginner backpackers to expert trekkers preparing or coming back from Philmont). No matter what experience your group is seeking, Camp Tahosa will exceed your expectations.
Camp Tahosa is also home to Big Horn National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT). This program is an intense week-long youth oriented leadership training experience designed to foster and enhance Scout and Venturer leadership skills.
Camp Tahosa provides a variety of year-round programs, providing your group with experiences they won't get during summer camp. Check out our Colorado Adventure Weeks, C.O.P.E., Hooked on Tahosa and Okpik programs below for more information.
