LDS Cub Scout Leader Position-Specific Training
This course is designed for leaders called to serve in Cub Scout packs chartered to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Leaders learn basic information to help them conduct a successful program, as well as an understanding of the connection between the Boy Scouts of America and the Church. Attending this course will satisfy position-specific training requirements for Cub Scout leader trained status.
It prepares leaders to deliver a quality, fun-filled program. Leaders who understand the whys and hows of the program are more effective in their roles. They know how to use available resources to provide an exciting and worthwhile program for boys. Trained leaders have confidence in carrying out their responsibilities and, along with the boys, have more fun.
