Join the Summer Horse AdVenture Crew!

Learn all about horsemanship this summer by joining the Summer Horse AdVenture Crew 908 for young men and women ages 14-20. We will meet for four Saturdays this summer at Peaceful Valley Scout Ranch in Elbert, CO to explore the fun and fascination of horses and horse care and to ride Peaceful Valley's 3500 acres of beautiful Colorado ranch land.  Join us! 

To join the Crew, you must be between ages 14-20 and complete the online registration process (below). The cost of the program is $95.00 for the four Saturday sessions. Use of a horse at camp (and a helmet) is included in your cost, as is your membership fee and insurance. You should be prepared to attend all sessions and be appropriately dressed to ride (jeans, a long sleeve shirt, and boots with heels.  A hat/cap is also highly recommended for times when you are not wearing a helmet).  Bring your lunch with you for all sessions except on the last session where we will have a big BBQ. We also recommend sunscreen and a water bottle.

Session dates:

• June 5, 2010 – 10:00am – 2:00pm
• June 12, 2010 – 10:00am – 2:00pm
• June 19, 2010 – 10:00am – 2:00pm
• June 26, 2010 – 10:00am – 4:00pm (includes celebration and barbeque)

This program is limited to 19 participants. After the first 19 participants, a wait list will be started for youth interested in the program.
