This required course is for adult Scouters who are taking their crew on any BSA High Adventure outing. You'll learn the Patient Assessment System, how to provide effective first aid treatments for injuries and illnesses common to the outdoors, and how to make appropriate evacuation decisions.

The course contains 14 hours of material presentations and a two hour training simulation of emergency situations that would be typical of any outdoor Scouting activity.

Upon completion of this course, you will receive a two year certification from the ESCI Institute along with course materials for you to keep.

This course will be offered on Friday, January 26, 2018 from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Saturday, January 27, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. It will be held at Phillip Miller Public Library.

Course fee is $50, which includes course manual, coffee, juice, donuts, and a course completion certificate. 

The course fee will not be collected online. Please make your check payable to Scott Smith and mail to:
