The Multicultural / Leadership Assisted Program, (LeAP), is charged with delivering the Boy Scout program to youth who ordinarily would not participate in Scouting due to economic or social issues.
We do this by providing assistance to multicultural traditional units and after school programs at elementary schools, middle schools, churches, and community organizations. We collaborate with organizations that serve diverse youth populations. Traditional Scouting values are included in theLeAP program. Our goal is to make Scouting available to all youth that want to participate.
LeAP provides paid Program Aides, Mentors, and Volunteers that serve as leaders for each program. All Aides, Mentors, and Volunteers are trained in youth protection and leader specific training for Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and Venturing.
