Activities & Events

The Denver Area Council (DAC) hosts events throughout the year that are not only fun, but also provide opportunities for Scouts to contribute community service hours, earn Merit Badges, and gain advancements. These activities and events include the  Scouting for Food and Cub Scout Day Camp. Annual events that award and recognize the dedication of youth and adult Scouters include the Annual Volunteer Recognition Dinner and the Annual Eagle Scout Recognition Banquet. The Council also has community partners that offer discounted tickets and Scout Days, including the Colorado Rockies, the Colorado Rapids, Elitch Gardens, and the National Western Stock Show. These events also provide units and Scouts the opportunity to earn advancements.
