  • Helps the Cub Scout succeed, and provides significant rank advancement opportunities.
  • Offers character development, citizenship training, and personal fitness.
  • Meets individuals Scouts needs and interests by offering a fun, meaningful, and educational Scout program.
  • Helps to recruit new children into the unit during the summer.
  • Provides a method of recruiting, training and inspiring present and future Cub Scout adult leadership.
  • Provides the opportunity for units to earn the National Summertime Pack Award, and to work toward qualifying for the Journey to Excellence Award.

Every Scout that attends Cub Scout Day Camp will receive:

  • T-Shirt
  • Water Bottle
  • 2021 Cub Scout Day Camp Patch

There will be an optional Parent Package add-on for these items. There will also be a Care Package option.

Every person that attends Cub Scout Day Camp must complete the BSA Medical Form Parts A & B. Please make a copy! Medical forms are not returned. You will be given a Tshirt on the first day, please be prepared to wear it after receiving it Day 1, and wear it every day of Day Camp afterwards.

When registering, please register according to the Cub Scout level/ grade your child will be going into for the 2021-22 school year. Scouts currently registered as a Tiger Cub need their BSA registered Adult Partner to attend Cub Scout Day Camp with them. Cub Scouts has a ratio of 5 Scouts to one adult. Contact your den or pack to arrange your day to volunteer as a Walking Group Guide.

Children ages 3-6 may attend with a parent, but they will not be able to participate in all activities. Children of Cub Scout age (6+) must register and attend with their local pack. NO walk-ins will be accepted.

The Denver Area Council will refund 100% of paid camp fees if the camp cannot operate due to local, state, or federal policies preventing the operation of the camp. The Denver Area Council will also refund 100% of paid camp fees if local, state, or federal policies are preventing a Pack/Family from traveling to camp.  Individual camper fees may also be refunded if their immediate family is affected by COVID-19 and are unable to participate in the camp program.
