The Denver Area Council – Alpine District serves the following school districts: Jefferson County, Gilpin County, Clear Creek County and Platte Canyon School District. It’s a big footprint from 5,000 ft to 14, 265 ft (Mt. Evans)!

COVID-19 Update

As you’re aware, things are changing by the day (maybe even the hour!) regarding COVID-19. We are trying our very best to stay ahead of the curve and keep everyone as safe as possible. We are committed to helping our associates and their families, our partners, and our community stay healthy by doing what we can to prevent the spread of COVID-19. We are monitoring developments regarding COVID-19 both locally and through Centers for Disease Control (CDC). Alpine District Pinewood Derby

Join us for the 2021 Virtual Alpine Pinewood Derby!

Car registration/Drop -Off is on April 9th from 5-7PM in the Dietler Conference Room at  DAC. $5 entry with registration.

Alpine District Patch (and Klondike Pins)

Looking for an Alpine District Patch? Want to pick up a pin from the 2021 Klondike Games? Use this form to order and pay online! They are $2.50 each and the proceeds now go to Investment in Character to help Scouting all over our community! Email John Beattie for additional information!

District Award of Merit Nomination Form:  This award is presented by districts to recognize an individual for outstanding service at the district level.  Members of the district may nominate a person who meets all requirement criteria.  The District’s appointed DAM committee will review candidate nominations and forward recommendations to the council for approval.
 
Unit Leader Award of Merit:  This award was created to recognize the quality unit leaders who make quality units happen, through retention of scouts, quality of the unit’s program.  Available for Cubmaster, Scoutmaster, Advisor, or Skipper, the nomination is completed by the unit’s committee chair with certification by the committee, then approved by the council.
 
Rookie of the Year Nomination Form: This Award is given to the first year Cubmaster, Scoutmaster, Varsity and Explorer Advisor who has served at least 6 months in their respective units.
 
Key Unit Scouter Nomination: Units may request district recognition of individual effort toward making a quality unit, following the qualities of the Scout Law.
 
Outstanding Chartered Organization Nomination: Unit-nominates their chartered organization for outstanding support and/or contribution to the success of the unit.
