The Denver Area Council – Alpine District serves the following school districts: Jefferson County, Gilpin County, Clear Creek County and Platte Canyon School District. It’s a big footprint from 5,000 ft to 14, 265 ft (Mt. Evans)!

2020 Alpine Webelos Weekend Experience – Back to the Future

“Blue uniforms? Where we’re going we don’t need blue uniforms!”

Join the adventure as we prepare both Scouts and parents for the transition from Cub Scouts to Scouts, BSA on September 19 at Odom Farm 11440 W 38th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO . Contact: Nate Graf 303.435.4847.

With COVID-19 considerations, this year’s Webelos Weekend Experience will be a 1-day experience for Webelos and their parents. Registration limits have been reached at this time and are now closed.

Alpine District Inaugural Camporee

The 2020 Alpine Camporee is the beginning of a whole new tradition in the Alpine District of the Denver Area Council. This year’s Fall Camporee will celebrate a new era in Scouting dealing with the Coronavirus. This will be a special event for the Alpine District. Scout units will camp out over the weekend of Oct. 2,3 and 4, 2020 (Friday-Sunday) at Camp Dobbins on the Charles S. McNeil Peaceful Valley Scout Ranch.

Scouts BSA and Webelos are encouraged to attend this exciting event. Cost is $20/person (with a discount for early registration).

Alpine District Committee meetings

The Alpine District Committee meets the third Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m., at St. Anthony’s Hospital, 11600 W 2nd Pl, Lakewood, CO 80228. Enter through the main doors and look for the Scouter to point you toward the meeting room.

Alpine District Commissioner Staff Meetings

The Alpine District Commissioner staff meeting takes place the third Thursday of each month at 7:30 p.m., at St. Anthony’s Hospital, 11600 W 2nd Pl, Lakewood, CO 80228. Enter through the main doors and look for the Scouter to point you toward the meeting room.
