The Denver Area Council – Alpine District serves the following school districts: Jefferson County, Gilpin County, Clear Creek County and Platte Canyon School District. It’s a big footprint from 5,000 ft to 14, 265 ft (Mt. Evans)!

As you’re aware, things are changing by the day (maybe even the hour!) regarding COVID-19. We are trying our very best to stay ahead of the curve and keep everyone as safe as possible. We are committed to helping our associates and their families, our partners, and our community stay healthy by doing what we can to prevent the spread of COVID-19. We are monitoring developments regarding COVID-19 both locally and through Centers for Disease Control (CDC). 2021 – Tentative Program Dates!

Although we cannot predict the future, we are planning nonetheless! Our amazing Activities Team has set aside these dates for District Events! [reminder these are all tentative]

  • Alpine Klondike 2021 – March 12th-14th – Peaceful Valley Scout Ranch – DETAILS BELOW
  • Council Pinewood Derby April 9th/10th – Colorado Adventure Point
  • Spring Waterway Cleanup of Bear Creek Waterway – April 17th
  • Webelos Weekend – Early June
  • Fall Camporee 2021 – September 17th-19th at Ft. Vasquez Historical Site
Alpine District Klondike Games: The Masked Crusaders

DATE UPDATE: March 12-14, 2021! The Alpine District Activities Committee invites you to take part in the Alpine District Klondike Derby to be held the first weekend of February. The Klondike Derby will take place at Camp Cris Dobbins at Charles S. McNeil Peaceful Valley Scout Ranch in Elbert County Colorado. Click Here to download the Leader’s Guide.

The theme for this year’s Klondike theme is “Masked Crusaders” since we will all be required to wear masks. Scouts will participate in a series of fun events to test their scouting skills and display their patrol spirit. Click Here to Register!
