Scouting BSA changes to rank advancement – Tenderfoot to First Class: Beginning August 1, 2022, minor modifications to the Scouts BSA requirements regarding outdoor ethics for the ranks of Scout through Star will take effect. Scouts may continue using the existing requirements for the rank on which they are currently working, or they may choose to use the new requirements. Scouts must use the new requirements once they advance to their next rank. On January 1, 2023, all Scouts must use only the new requirements. Specific changes to be coming soon.

Roundtables – First Thursday Each Month
There will be no District Committee Meeting or Roundtable in the month of July!
Roundtable is for supplemental training, sharing experiences, fellowship, and having fun with other Scout Leaders. The monthly Roundtable meeting provides program ideas, Scout skills, information on policy and updates, upcoming events, training opportunities, structure suggestions, resources and best practices for all Scouting Units.
Modified Schedules for each meeting. Please contact the appropriate District Leadership Chair for more information.
District Committee Meetings – Second Thursday Each Month
The District Committee meeting is where District volunteers plan upcoming activities and organize service to units seeking additional assistance. Any volunteer willing to collaborate with other volunteers to push positive Scouting throughout Centennial District is welcomed & encouraged to attend.

1. Eagle Pre-view seminar – Friday, August 5th from 6:30 – 8 PM. This will be a zoom meeting. Link Here
2. 2021 Eagle Scout Recognition Event – August 11th from 6:30 to 8 PM at the Colorado Freedom Memorial at 756 Telluride St (next to Beck Recreational Center). We will be honoring our Eagle Scouts from 2021 with special acknowledgements from the Director of the Colorado Freedom Memorial.
3. Merit Badge College – September 9th-10th at PV
4. Centennial District Camporee – September 30th – October 2nd
5. Webelos Adventure Weekend – October 7th-8th
