2020 Fall corporate shooting clays

Friday, September 25, 2020

In 2020 the Denver Area Council (DAC) will hold one combined Sporting Clays event in the fall, due to COVID-19. All proceeds from the Clays events support capital projects at the two Scout camps owned and operated by the DAC, Charles S. McNeil Peaceful Valley Scout Ranch and Tahosa High Adventure Base.

The Sporting Clays is a premier shooting event. It is open to all levels of shotgun shooters from beginner to advanced. The course is designed to simulate the flight of game in actual field conditions. Many have compared it to “golfing” but with a shotgun! It’s a perfect way to have a fun day of shooting, fellowship, and the opportunity to network with other business and community leaders.

Shooters compete at the DAC’s exclusive Sporting Clays course at Peaceful Valley Scout Ranch. This is one of the few times of the year that the course is available to the public. Shooters are invited to participate in various side games, in a raffle for a chance to win various items from firearms to outdoor gear, and enjoy a delicious catered meal.
